Oral Health Therapist

Zohra is an Oral Health Therapist with a post-graduate Bachelor of Oral Health Honours degree at the University of Melbourne. She has also completed a Graduate Teaching Certificate at the University of Melbourne as a clinical demonstrator in the undergraduate program. With over 10 years in the dental field, she has gone on to become a qualified Orofacial Myologist at the Australian Academy of Orofacial Myology.

Zohra is able to assess and treat head and neck pain, muscular dysfunction, tongue and lip ties, as well as airway issues in all ages. Through Myofunctional Therapy, Zohra is able to assist promote nasal breathing, thumb-sucking cessation, and even assess breastfeeding infants for tongue or lip ties.

With particular interest in children’s dentistry, Zohra loves to treat the little ones and provides a safe and caring dental experience for the young anxious patient using behavior and pain management techniques. Adult patients may also find her chair-side manner to be calming and reassuring.

Outside of the dental clinic, Zohra enjoys travelling, snorkeling and DIY projects.
