Dr John Tia graduated from the University of Sydney in 1999 and has over 19 years of experience and knowledge in private practice.  He has recently relocated from Singapore with his young family to settle permanently in Melbourne to enjoy the beautiful city and its lifestyle.

Known for his amiable and gentle approach to patient care, Dr Tia believes that attention to detail, modern methods and really listening to understand individual needs are the cornerstones to giving the highest quality dental care for his patients. He believes in, and enjoys assisting his clients achieve a beautiful and healthy smile.

With extensive experience across all aspects of general dentistry, Dr Tia also holds special interests and skills in the areas of Dental Implants, Wisdom teeth removal, Invisalign and Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dentistry – including treatment for rebuilding worn or heavily broken down teeth.  He is also an accredited provider for INVISALIGN and Inman Aligner.

Away from the surgery, John enjoys spending quality time with his wife and 2 young children.  His other interests include badminton, basketball, travelling and home renovations.  John is also a foodie and is always on the hunt for new destinations to discover and unwind.
